About me

Nina van Huissteden
'A spider in the web and a jack of all trades'
After completing my physiotherapy training, I started at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) in 2006. Within the Physiotherapy program, I held various positions, including lecturer, foundation year coordinator, member of the examination and curriculum committee, and team manager. In these roles, I worked at the intersection of educational content, organization, and policy.
In addition, drawing on my background as a former elite athlete, I have mentored student athletes in higher education in combining elite sports and study. This led to the development of a broad network within both elite sports and higher education, where I often served as a liaison between various parties and interests.
In addition to various continuing education courses and refresher courses in education, project management, and management, I completed a Master's degree in Educational Sciences and completed the NVAO secretary program. Before embarking on my own business, I worked as Head of Staff for Education and Research at the Faculty of Technology at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS).
In my current role, I work as an interim manager, researcher, project leader, and educational specialist. I lead teams and research and development projects within higher education and work on complex CDHO and TNO dossiers (Associate degree, bachelor's, and professional master's programs) in the areas of policymaking and quality assurance.
